On Tuesday, Sept. 22, DEP shared the results of its recent investigation of the Aeromarine Industrial Park, including the Keyport Sanitary Landfill. The investigation, supplemented by independent investigations, has not found any indication that contamination from the site is impacting surrounding neighborhoods. All of the 2026 paper shredding events will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Union Beach's date is Saturday, June 27th. County residents may shred up to 100 pounds, which is equivalent to four office paper boxes, or four large-size trash bags. Each location is open to all Monmouth County residents.
